Scrolling:
The Logitech M600 is what I have promised from the Microsoft Touch Mouse.
When MS mouse I was scrolling absolutely imprecise very disturbed. Making a certain location in the document or on the website was a gamble.
Often the scrolling works not ... usually are accessed then again to scrollbars, which indeed can not be the intention. As the old wheel is still much better.
Not so with the M600, scrolling works perfectly here, in documents and on the web.
For popular browsers, there is an add-on to the still possible to navigate smoothly.
Feel and handling:
Both mice feel great, are high quality.
Whether one the shiny or matte finish is better like taste.
I think the broader front (area to click) in the M600 enjoyable.
The M600 is a microfiber bag for transport, can also be used for cleaning.
The M600 is relatively easy, but is still well in hand. The focus is not the batteries are relatively far up there right at the bottom of the housing.
This allows the mouse surprisingly easily slide across the desk.
The posture of the hand I find natural in the M600. The palm rests on the table.
When MS Touch Mouse's hand is always completely on the mouse, I put the heel of your hand on the desk I have slipped from the problem that the cursor when you click.
Software:
Functionality and installation is good for both, navigate better in MS-Tochmaus.
Microsoft has gestures for the arrangement of the windows as well as minimizing and maximizing.
There, the gestures are distinguished by multi-touch. I have to say that I miss this feature in the M600 by Logitech.
Here it is possible merely to and fro in the browser or Explorer.
Since I have got used to very arranging the window I now use the software "StrokeIt" with which you can deposit gestures for all Windows applications (like Opera browser).
With this addition, the M600 is the clear winner for me.
Conclusion:
The M600 I personally like better, even if I have to use an extra software in order to get the functionality of MS Touch Mouse.
Too bad that Microsoft has not refilled respect of scrolling with a better driver.
After several months now hoping for a new driver, I was tired of the hassle and am happy with my M600 Logitech.
Supplement, since the issue arose in a forum:
The mouse has a mechanical click, the click of the mouse, the touch interface is not used.
So it's not like a touchpad from the laptop where you have to raise the Finter to click.
The way the key is very short and smooth, with pleasant (audible) feedback through the microswitch.
