Still, I can not help but think that these infinite lives associated with ultra-frequent checkpoints are a kind of fig leaf for an often approximate level design. The gameplay / levels ideas report is not great either. And also, when we finish a Mario one is self-satisfied and when we will see runs on Youtube one realizes that there were grounds to play 100 times better; whereas with Rayman Legends must do exactly what the designers had planned otherwise we can not do that, but beyond that there is no room for improvement for the player.
I enjoyed myself on Rayman Legends (PC version), but I'm tired and I do not think I would play again one day. I consider this is a very good platform game, but no more. It is absolutely beautiful, but it is not at the best of its kind published in the years 80/90 regarding interest.
By cons, my previous paragraph is relative because there is a point where Rayman Legends can be push many gaming platforms: the multiplayer. But as I've played there only, I can not tell if it's a big success or not.
