The fan is in operation almost imperceptible and makes an average air flow. For me, he sits as a substitute for the unreasonable loud radial fan on the graphics card and provides an excellent service there. As a case fan I think he's not suitable, because the air flow is too slight (For -1 Stern). Here the tradeoff between volume and air flow went out in favor of the inaudible, what you would expect from a Silent fan also. The 120mm model is then for the casing already fitted. Nevertheless, very good price / performance ratio.
