Looking for a compact camera, which can also make reasonably professional images, I came across the PowerShot A590IS.
Photography is not really my hobby but I wish for some time, more appealing images of your own home as well as the flora and fauna of the garden, as a feed for the automatic changing screen backgrounds on the computer.
When researching the current state of photographic technique, I found out that there is a technique that allows that one can be expected together several images of a series in a picture (eg to rausrechnen noise or for HDR photography). This requires a camera that can take pictures series with changing bracketing.
Since I was so impressed by the images that I saw on the net, I really wanted a camera that could use it.
Even a fully manual mode is important to experiment.
The A590 as one of the few compact cameras offers a full manual mode - as well as aperture priority, shutter priority, Program and Auto Adjustment.
In conjunction with a tripod at slow shutter speeds offer also wonderful opportunities in low light. Here again, the automatic many compact cameras often plays into disturbing: the light sensitivity is often automatically upshift in low light, resulting in higher image noise. The A590 is simply fixed on the lowest ISO setting 80 (if the only means of free add-on software, CHDK` is possible, or even as standard, because I can not remember) I and the tripod will do the rest (as a stand me a favorable bought from Hama - that's enough for my needs perfectly).
CHDK
For a number of Canon cameras, there is a free software called CHDK (Canon Hack Development Kit). Thus, the A590 leaves the possibility of user-defined series bracketing, RAW mode, or even automatic triggering when motion is detected (flash photography!) Uvvvm. extend ([...] A gigantic tool that is loaded onto the memory card of the camera and runs automatically when the camera is turned.
As software for aggregating sequential shots I use the way PhotoAcute. Moreover, one need not necessarily a tripod to make zusammenrechnen pictures because PhotoAcute detects even minor camera shake.
The image quality that you can get out of the camera is amazing. Something for 100, - is actually too cheap.
However, the automatic mode will satisfy the less ambitious.
The colors are natural, the image is sharp and the camera software identifies good lighting conditions.
The video mode provides a considerable video image, bringing the A590 is good for the sticking of moving memories. The optical camera zoom also works during movie recording.
At negative points I just can not enumerate in such a cheap camera. I am so completely satisfied and can recommend automatic clippers and amateur clippers very.
In reality, she looks in my opinion better than suggested by the images. The feel is also better than it seems.
