Very good article, solid and very well designed in the continuity of the seriousness of this brand that I already knew, who two years ago another model that I wear every day during the three day trips with my dog, and has kept all its original qualities.
This model is slightly heavier, but it's just as comfortable. The insole is formed perfectly to the characteristics of the foot over the outputs, thus making it very pleasant walk. The Vibram sole provides excellent ride comfort on stony paths and ankle is wrapped and well maintained.
The vortex quality prevents the warm sensation while keeping the foot dry in wet grass.
As others have indicated, I confirm that it is advisable to take a size above the usual size. On smooth wet surfaces such as manhole cover and tiled splashbacks (eg in doorways) the sole tends to slide.
In conclusion I am personally very satisfied with the products Merrell, which for those I know, have the advantage of being a little lighter than similar products from other well-known brands to small and medium hiking.
