The first thing I noticed after the Logitech G440 Gaming Mouse Hard preservation, was its size. It is slightly longer and much wider than a DIN A-4 sheet. Of course, the dimensions were specified in the product description, but accurately measured it I had not and I (naively) assumed a more classic range. For these oversize you have to find the necessary space on his desk for now. Whether this dimension at play is actually needed and is exploited, I dare times easy to doubt.
The size but also advantages. In my case, for example, stands next to the desktop computer or a laptop on the desk and the pad offers enough space, two mice on it side by side comfortable to use.
Very good, I like the materials used. The surface is completely flat and very low friction. The mice glide almost no resistance to it. The consistency is firm but not completely rigid but easily pliable and makes a very sophisticated look.
But I like best the fully rubberized bearing surface, which - at least on my wooden desk - in normal operation proves to be completely non-slip. My last mousepads had always smooth undersides and lay on small rubber pads on. This worked well at the beginning, the passage of time but broke up one or the other of these knobs, was lost and the pad was no longer horizontal and got easier to slide. In the regard, the Logitech G440 promises to be much more durable in the long term.
The only flaw I could find extensive use for several days, are the sharp edges that have been mentioned several times already in other reviews. I would not use the pad for cutting a steak, but next time I'm slide with hand / forearm at one edge along very quickly in the hectic pace of a game that is not a pleasant feeling.
All in all, the Logitech G440 Gaming Mouse Pad Hard the best mousepad that I have ever owned and I use it very much. However, I can not fully recommend it any. People with little space on the desktop and / or where round, soft edges are important, should better look for something else.
