As an alternative to Tamron I had looked at the kit lens and the high-intensity Sigma and Canon.
- Canon 18-55 IS kit lens was not strong enough light to me
- Sigma EX 2.8 has no image stabilization and some problems with purple fringing (purple fringing)
- Canon 17-55 2.8 IS USM is perhaps a little bit sharper around the edges, the higher price but not worth me
The autofocus of Tamron works properly with me and I can not say that he gave me is too loud too - you hear it, but that does not bother.
Summary:
+ Very good value for money
+ Good for LowLight Photography
+ Extremely low chromatic aberrations, even under the toughest conditions, they do not fall on, and must be long sought with the magnifying glass
+ Processing like me well
- If you want to make tack-sharp images down to the last pixel, should rather buy a prime lens
PS: I have found 3 photos in the gallery: a "macro picture" with cutout, and a freehand image in very low light and maximum aperture.
