I bought this to replace a hard drive 128 GB SSD, which contained my operating system Windows 8. The replacement of one by the other is very easy with the Samsung Data Migration software. I installed the 256GB Samsung SSD in a Technaxx Technaxx HDD Dock HDD Docking Station for 2.5 "/ 3.5".
Then the sofware Data Migration provides copy c: // on the new disk. It dismounts the disc, and they put new instead and hop voila. All software is copied.
Very easy. In terms of speed, I did not measure, but the system is still very fast. So, very satisfied. I made the manip there two months, and no worries.
