I mounted this hybrid disc in a white Macbook late 2009 to replace the original Toshiba (5400 rev / min). Now, the computer starts in less than 10s and the most used applications (Mail, Safari, Finder) embark instantly. It's very nice. Moreover, with 750 GB of storage, I'm not embarrassed and can process large amounts of data such as video acquisitions. I did not notice any heat or noise compared to original HD. The fan stays at 2000 r / min. The cloning was done easily with the Disk Utility in Mac OS X (Snow leopard 6.8) Attention is long = + copy formatting. The former disc box set, now a start external disk identically, in case of crash ... I am very pleased with this upgrade makes the device very responsive.
