This SSD took over from my 1st generation SSD from OCZ. AS SSD benchmark shows me for Kingston to 216 MB read and write speed 190MB / sec. This is well below what should be possible. My old Mobo slows the SSD likely drum, you should be aware that additional hardware upgrades are needed to the max. To get performance. But purely from the feeling it is still very fast.
