Very disappointed (or angry) with this Transcend key. Others of the same brand (16, 32 and 64 GB) yet works perfectly. This - it (8GB) is incredibly slow ... 15MB reading (acceptable), around 2.5 MB to writing (more than average) and drops below 1MB !!! read / write. Testing conducted with "HD Speed" on multiple PCs and 5 identical USB controlled simultaneously. In use, these catastrophic tests are confirmed, whether in file transfer or stick with a bootable live Linux. I have never met such slow keys, at least 3 times slower than a key "normal". Unusable !!! Even much older USB keys work much better! 35 (5x7) Euros lost!
