The bracket itself has a jack and USB port, comes with a car charger. So can charge the phone without cable even has the phone rather convenient as taking a little play and therefore damage the strength of such connections. The no problem.
The ball turns the phone into portrait / landscape mode, and tilt as desired, really well. The best system I could have.
