Very useful addition to notebook. My current Acer Aspire has 3 USB ports, 1 HDMI and 1 network connection. The Adaper expanding this to 1 USB, 1 network (with limited use for me) and a VGA out (which is the main feature for me). So to serve a perfect use as a mini docking station or just to even VGA inputs of older devices. Integration with Win8 ran smoothly ... the switch to Windows 7 require an additional driver for the network interface, however, was made at the end without problems.
