Tested with various USB devices, most requiring less 1.5A except one galaxy note 2 takes 2.1A and a backup battery. The two outlets are working together and load 2 connected phones or other support (a less than 2A each other over 2 not tested with 2 devices has 2.1A), by cons not understand why the two are taken supposed to deliver the same amperage but my Note2 not loaded on only one. A bit capricious ds the cigarette lighter of megane (position ds decision, faulty contact) without knowing whether it comes from the outlet or product. This does not bother us more than that, during holidays and travel to connect gps, charge phones and others, or use Waze, this large battery consumer. .. No regret!
