I already had one for over 4 years, very robust, long battery life (over one year). I searched for a wake my kid of 9 years. After buying several alarm clocks at different stores (Ikea, Carrefour, and others for about 12 euros approximately), we have always been disappointed, until I think watching the same model as my own awakening on web .... and most competitive is actually at Amazon. You want a true awakening and cheap, buy it and do not.
