This is due to the fact that this helmet does not work indeed in the same way as the other son without helmets that can be purchased commercially and have frequencies dedicated for "emission (from the base) and receiving (helmet) ... so that the interferences are very unlikely ...
The base actually emits according to a 863MHz frequency (information from the booklet) with 3 adjustable channels in the base below ...
As against the helmet, he works as a radio: press the "scan" button, the headset scans ALL the neighboring frequencies available ... he is able to capture all types of sources that have nothing to do with Based supplied! It will thus synchronize with the first source acceptable (strong enough) it will identify ... and it may not be that of the base provided! Just then rescan before falling to the desired source ... being very close to the base during scanning, it is possible to fall directly over faster!
Some may find this annoying operation; however, it has an advantage: your headset will also work very well with other databases of other brands. I was able to test it with a base / Philips brand helmet ... the ability to have two helmets connected simultaneously (and therefore with the same sound) on the Philips base (it should be checked if it is the case with other models and / or brands)! The other advantage is that if one day the basis Meliconi is HS, the helmet can always work with another base.
