OK replacement is something but much to ask at least what I can use well for cases where one always has the part is not in view and it is more robust and damage to the SoundLink Mini would be quite costly.
So I was looking for something similar would be to use the.
I found some parts and then decided to go for the MusicMan Wireless Soundstation BT-X1
Why:
1. Could over the BOSE SoundLink Mini .... ie from USB flash drive or SD micro ect .... had radio ...
2. Was much cheaper and therefore a loss or damage was not as dramatic.
3. Can also Bluetooth
4. Has a removable LiIon battery, so you can switch on the go and increase the term clearly.
What I would like, however, first be going on is that my BT-X1 perforated plates in front of speakers has !!
I found super because I thought that you like in the picture has no speaker grilles.
As you have probably changed what. This evaluates the BT-X1 to clear and facilitates the transport enormously.
Now one more note in advance. The BT-X1 not even get 50% of the sound of the Bose SoundLink Mini zoom.
However, this was already clear to me that the BT-X1 this can not create the price.
The BOSE SoundLink Mini has a very clear fuller sound with more Wupdich and Power ;-).
But I wanted to have what must be the part of the what is happening at a low price that I sometimes just can take without fear.
As the BT-X1 was then my choice.
Since I have other external speakers I can compare and can make me an opinion.
The BT-X1 has been an acceptable sound for the price and their equipment.
Since I'm wearing glasses (bifocals) * was useless for me the instructions provided in microprinting * fg.
Reading was not reasonable without motion or other aids.
However, this did not spoil the fun. I ect Duch other MP3 players. some was used I looked through quite quickly. Then tested USB .. radio .. Bluetooth ect ... everything worked.
What also went quite well was the radio reception with the Line IN cable in the aerial socket.
Works like a wire antenna and brought a pretty good reception. Some report something else but with me several stations are well received and also good to hear the sound.
The adapter for a mobile phone ect. I do not use. Therefore I can not comment.
I use Bluetooth with GoGear AZURE, works just fine without sound loss compared to USB flash drive.
Did this a song from the stick and the GoGear belongs, of course, the exact same song, ie same MP3 file.
Conclusion:
Clear, the BT-X1 not perform miracles.
For the price, I find you but with the facilities and the sound good and therefore give it 5 stars.
Non-slip studs down the battery cover on which it stands. Battery is easily replaceable. 1 minutes ... ready.
Had no covers the speakers I had only given 4 stars as this significantly limits the application.
Damage to the membranes so would have been only a matter of time.
Processing Miner BT-X1 was also OK.
One advantage it has over the BOSE SoundLink Mini. She plays directly from MP3 storage media,
has radio and a replaceable battery.
However, the sound and the pressure they will never reach ;-)
Have fun with it ....
