My first objective was the AF-S DX 18-55 VR what I ordered for the end of 2013 almost 100 here at Amazon. Delivered it was of MM Photo-discount and that was the last time I bought something there. The lens was new and perfectly fine, but either it was in a glass case or it was commissioned by a customer back and resold. It was not in the original packaging, lacked the warranty card, the protective bag and this same lens cap, which was the most annoying thing for me. Instead, a white plastic lid was on without bayonet, which does not really fit. So I ordered less than a year later the original cover for a whopping 8.80. You have to be a real enthusiast to pay for this piece of plastic almost 10, but the cover fits like a glove and no longer slides down and that's worth it to me the lens. Wishes each of a new NIKKOR buys that all accessories will be there!
