waterproof camera but not the screen

What a disappointment!
After 2 sessions of snorkling, first disquieting signs of moisture appears on the periphery of the screen.
And 2 or 3 sessions later, black screen.
The camera continues to take pictures, good quality.
But it's complicated framing a picture of fish in these conditions.
By choosing a specific device for 18 m depth, I thought there would be a safety margin to make underwater pictures from 0 to 10m.
