The batteries of M & L Mobiles are unsurprisingly inferior to the original in all respects. I'm going to touch on the essential aspects of cargo capacity, compatibility and processing before then shortly followed by a few words from the agent and a conclusion on value for money.
Load capacity:
I have made no exactly comparable measurements, but when I filmed with the camera times several hours at a stretch, I have listed the recording times to be able to estimate about how long to hold out the batteries.
With a 800mAh battery should thus afford the 70% charge capacity of an original (1120mAh). In my case, I have achieved more like 50-60% of recording time. But as already mentioned may be related also with other factors.
In any case, two batteries should come together at least at the time it reaches an original.
The longevity I can not judge (own the batteries until about 3 months), but I'll adjust the review if necessary.
Compatibility:
Let's put it this way, the batteries meet the minimum requirement, it can be insert and the camera detects the batteries and related power, but that's about it then. From a reliable charge status display in the camera can be no question. If the battery runs out, the camera usually goes without warning suddenly. If anything then the charge indicator really change until the very last moment red. A charge state of one or two bars I got not displayed with these batteries.
If someone has made better experiences, I would be grateful for a note in the comments.
Processing:
The build quality is definitely worse than the original. I can describe the difficulties in detail, but you can tell it for example if one uses the batteries into the charger. While the original there clicks perfectly and firmly seated, the M & L batteries are still not easy and you would could shake the charger, the batteries also fall out.
In addition, one of the battery supplied me was useless. The connection was apparently poorly processed, so that the pins do not fit, and the battery was not used. (Replacement was delivered immediately.)
The weight is only slightly different. The M & L batteries are minimal lighter (1-5g), at least not to an extent where it could, for example, adversely affect the balance of my Steadycam.
Supplier & packaging:
The batteries came very quickly in a bubble envelope and were once again wrapped in bubble-mini bags. There is no container, such as the original (this yellow thing).
The information about this offer was excellent. When I had to complain a battery that has been delivered to me unceremoniously very fast replacement.
Conclusion:
I would say the value for money is. Who has no problem with carrying around multiple batteries with weaker cargo capacity with you, which can save some money compared to other batteries from other manufacturers here also.
However, the unreliable battery gauge is already a disadvantage.
You get, for example, the battery of Bundle Star already for only slightly more. This corresponds broadly to the original and seems overall a better choice.
