What can the 5D Mark II particularly well?

The 5D Mark II is a full-frame camera that offers simply by superb picture quality, even at high ISO levels. I have with any other Canon (EOS 350D, EOS 30D and EOS 40D) a comparable performance under low light conditions seen only in its infancy, as the 5D MII offers. Even at ISO 1600-3200 the sensor extremely noisy moderate and enables handheld shooting with achievable image quality that simply can not deliver APS-C sensors. Autofocus (and this is the good part of the information) works! ... But simply technically obsolete and inferior as the new 7D under low light conditions. Even the more expensive models like the 1Ds Mark III are the 5D Mark II just equal ... and for a lot more money in the acquisition. But if you are looking for a round camera that unites as rapid burst frequencies with a modern AF system, you should consider purchasing the EOS 7D into consideration.

Despite these weaknesses, the 5D Mark II is for me is currently the best Canon D-SLR and I forgive peace of mind 5 star.
