The build quality is great for the price. The plastic acts valent, the grille at the front is even made of metal. The light in the center does not interfere and looks elegant.
The control dial for volume wobbles a millimeter, can be very enjoyable and precise turn (not too heavy not too loose), snaps on and off a crisp.
On the other hand, surprisingly, are even 2 headphone outputs.
For sound: Of course one must not expect miracles, for the price and that it ultimately only speaker on a screen are strips them but a decent sound.
Very low frequencies, the speaker unfortunately as good as never played (here simply lacks a subwoofer), but some higher basses come then quite well. Surprisingly, the spatial sound image, it looks as if the bar 2-3x as wide, if not more. Mids and highs are also passable, volume is surprisingly high (at max. Volume from the system you have to really turn the knob gently if you want to spare the neighbors)
One criticism: The headphone outputs not seem to come with nowadays quite frequent 4-pin connectors clearly, ie 3 "strips" on the port, one of which is a built-in microphone (particularly in smartphones accessible). If no microphone is supported, but no problems should occur in the headphones. Unfortunately, I have the connector but always 1-2mm let out, as otherwise badly distorted the sound and even some sounds are played back through the speakers.
It would be desirable, of course, a microphone jack, maybe in a follow-up model.
Even a small advantage, but rather the combination of screen and speakers is due to: The screen has an audio power-saving mode, ie the speakers are automatically switched off when the screen switches to standby. But if you just want to listen to music and the screen not to be need, you can of course disable the function and the speaker to run even when the screen is off even further.
