I have always had compact cameras, the bright light also supplied all very decent results, but if you had to deal with artificial light, then it was over with funny - and to upgrade for me at the time. First of all: The Alpha 5000 is "small", but with the kit lens certainly no shirt - or pockets camera. I am an amateur photographer, and so for me was the price - performance ratio of this camera the ultimate selling point. From Obejktiv I was not expecting too much, because the tests rather promised an average performance - and was then but a positive surprise. The image quality is excellent and in my opinion, exceeds my expectations by far. This is an entry-level camera, and as such they should be also fair to evaluate. If they combine all the features in it, no one would need the expensive models. The low burst rate was not crucial for me because I do not intend to shoot sporting events. The lack of program wheel? Thankfully there is no! Thumbs has the menu button anyway - press once and you can select the program. There's nothing faster - and also makes the camera even more compact. The feel? Spitzenmäßig! The camera feels good and is processed class - makes an absolutely high-quality impression, which was also to be expected from Sony. Regarding the image quality since are worlds between this system and my camera compact. I could bite the A .... that I am not switched sooner. Viewed on the screen, I was not impressed with the results, viewed on the PC, I had made a smile on his face - and printed out, what can I say; a visual orgasm after another! I would not have thought that you with this lens also may exempt - have assumed, you need at least f2.8 and a fixed focal length, but in bright light, which is also included with this kit lens possible. Nevertheless, I will buy myself a bright and structurally smaller lens to give the finishing touches to my portrait. Sure, more money would have been available, then my choice would be the Alpha been 6000, but really need what that can do more, I do not. But is always very comforting to have options and reserves. For an amateur, whether amateur photographer or ambitious, the A5000 is sufficient. Even the flash, of which I have purely expect anything, does a good job. A hotshoe would indeed have me also welcome, but I would have never taken a flash - so I have him always at least - and for most situations, this is sufficient from absolute.
The other day I saw in the brochure of the electronics giant Alpha 5000 and the Panasonic TZ61 advertised side by side - both at the same price. So it's no question about which model I take then, unless I'm purely to the compactness.
If I miss something on the Sony, then the processing options within the camera - but I knew beforehand. Slim down the camera, but they offer it at an attractive price, so Sony has done everything right! Those who want more, the need to pay more just, then he gets it - and professionals and will not deal with this camera, but have to take quantum leaps in price in purchasing.
The A5000 is fully recommended and my highlight 2014
