The adapter I use for a few days at the Galaxy Note. I tested previously USB flash drives and control my Nikon D90 on "DSLR dashboard". Both works reliably. The use of keyboard and mouse I'll probably never try because I have no need for it.
The adapter itself is pleasantly short, the cable is processed quite solid. For this it was still cheaper than the original accessories from Samsung.
