The case was as usual delivered from Amazon to the next day.
Long I have "external USB 3.0 enclosure" dealt with the subject. Most provide back their promises not nearly high speeds. With me tinkers an Intel G2 the 320 series with SATA 2 in the housing. I use the plate for my today's cutting stories on Macbook Pro Retina. Since Elegato and Co with their astronomical prices
out of the question and I had the Intel SSD from my old Macbook Pro, I wanted to make a virtue of necessity.
The case is very well made, comes with an eSATA and a USB 3.0 cable. The material is mainly made of aluminum and the plate can be easily shove and anchor everything without using a screwdriver - perfect.
Then came the test. After all, I come with the G2 to 160 MB / s in writing and at approximately 210 MB / s in read. Annual values when considering the price and not far from the real-time performance of a Elegato or Lacie.
So my recommendation get a cheap SSD and block into the housing. SATA 2 is usually sufficient, since USB 3.0 even in the best cases ever, the SATA 3 standard crack.
Who wants it more quickly, must be ordered through the Firm Tek miniSwap / U3 enclosure. Although costs $ 99 and is currently only available in the US, allows for all other external housing and SSD's in the rain (about 430 MB / s). Maybe it's time available on Amazon, I would be a buyer.
Addendum:
Now it's happened, it did not work and be on the go at the many daily reposition a contact on USB 3.0 connection properly. The result was that the plate was not correctly read.
I immediately contacted the support of iAnker and got three days later the new housing -> top, just as it should be.
