The style is okay without being transcendent. No, it's a bad joke to try to find a flaw in this novel !! The universe created by Vargas is absolutely fabulous. A rich cast of characters shifted: a commissioner with intuitive intelligence and little emotional pain that does not leave (ca yet for years she's gone ...), an inspector with a Cartesian intelligence ( his wife also is a party but as long as there is alcohol, it's going), confusing the scientific passions (she has no man-s-ca and it does not look the 'interest), a blind with great wisdom but downright rude (it is beautiful, it could have a woman but as it is unpleasant ...) and, finally, a murderer or a meurtière ... A puzzle where Vargas excels. Because we could quickly guess the murders if Vargas does not sprinkled his book a few false leads. Admittedly, hard to resist the temptation: shameful, it will sometimes take a quick look at the ultra-fast back pages quickly and it comes back rear aware of having sinned, and fortunate not to have fallen on good lines. Note, I'm lucky at the bottom, it's only my first Vargas! !
