Whether the different connection for 58mm size versions for different manufacturers build? Can not really be, I thought, and have the WW-converter ordered (for Samsung NX) for my Fujifilm XF18-55. For some reason no focus was only (not manual) to achieve, by attaching the supplied macro lens it went wonderfully, even with AF.
The sharpness drops towards the edge region from visible and there is strong fringing on high-contrast edges. In the 100% view that is fierce. The fringing is quite well corrected in Lightroom. Worse than the sharpness waste I find the barrel distortion of my entire system. Is in LR also well corrected (+69 at 18mm), but that causes more loss of quality, esp. In the corners. Since the problems then add.

Some tinkering with the aperture (at f5 I had imho the best results), and the focal length (instead of the max. 18mm the lens I use often 20mm) could improve the results somewhat.

In my combi there are no shadows in the corners, even at max. ww-position of the lens. An extension of the exposure time is only very rarely observed, if so, then it is not worth mentioning (eg 1/20 instead of 1/25 sec).

When the subject to focus drop towards the edge tolerated (many motives do that) or you put the focus level accordingly and photographed in Raw possible, can be achieved decent results, the performance of a WW lens but you should not expect. For Web with 1200px width or a 13x18 print is meinsens good enough, and that's my main for purpose of.

I wonder, still try the HD version of x0.6 Sicore, should be a little better than here, I would be very happy.

Because of the described optical weaknesses I draw a point from, the price / performance ratio is very good and the errors are in many cases bearable (with einigenm effort to post).
