First impression:
Very good workmanship. The material appears thick and solid sewn. The gloves had while wearing an overall good hand feeling. The corresponding positions of the gloves are additionally padded. At first, they are, as you can imagine, a bit stiff. After a few movements, or after the first training sessions themselves had done. Which leads me to the next category:
Practice:
- Anticipation Note that I go for 5 years on a regular basis (4-5 times / week) to the gym. The weights I'm not exactly squeamish when muscle training. Preferably, I lead "free weight exercises" by. This means: No rubberized grips, no prescribed movements. Raw iron handles, brushed accordingly and correspondingly MATERIAL stressful. -
Very unpleasant struck me in other, cheaper models that this is in the finger direction Hand "roll up", which meant that I had now no calluses on the palm, but on the fingers. This is at the Harbi Gern not the case! Here, the quality of material becomes noticeable.
After 6 months in use:
The above stress withstood the gloves until then largely. Only on the palm, at the junction of the thumb to hand (in the area of carpometacarpal joint) unravels the seams. Here the stress is naturally highest in exercises like bench press. This can be evaluated as one would like. I give here, even in the face of the price point deduction!
Previously, I had always gloves, which cost a third of the Harbinger. These have kept approximately same amount of time (annoying here rolling up on his fingers). A good value for the Harbinger for me would be at least one year, "endurance".
A training colleague of mine has bought five years ago in the US training gloves holding since then (for $ 10). I wonder why not Harbinger hinbekommt similar solid gloves.
Therefore, I give 3 out of 5 stars. Had it the Harbinger Pro Gloves "made" a little longer, I would definitely give 4 stars. Had they a lot more than 6 months continuous training persevered, I would have given 5 stars also.
Maybe you have to simply accept the fact that you wear gloves 2-3 pairs / year of this training schedule. Since I'm certainly not an isolated case. On such a high level I coach again not ..
