I use a Nokia C5-03 for offline navigation in a VW Golf on the dashboard. Only there you can read the navigation and only there you have GPS reception. If you put the charger into the cigarette lighter (located at the bottom next to the gear lever), the phone will not pull up to the holder on the dashboard. This is due to the enormous tension which developed the spiral cable of the battery charger, which is wisely not shown on the product photo. Once connected, wants to leave the actually quite stable mobile phone holder and disappear down toward lighter smartphone. Once the mini-plug had solved automatically and after three hours of driving, the battery was empty. Tighten the spiral cable brings only temporary relief because the cable is formed from a fairly brittle plastic that shrinks back quickly to the old form.
PS: Who coupled his cell phone exclusively for calls to a Bluetooth hands-free, may be happy with the cable. Then you can post his cell phone in the center armrest or on the ashtray.
