As it seems difficult to talk about this little delicate book, fun, magical and poetic! It speaks of a man who just lost a small island joined delivered to the winds for a month in the house assigned by his friend where he will take care of the garden and the three-legged dog. The postcard seems to be boring, but that's not counting unusual encounters that will sprinkle his stay: a kid who puts sand in his shoes always feel like going to the beach; a librarian giving handkerchiefs to each loan because all her books are sad; the meteor hunters! On every page, it borders delicious turns of phrases full of poetry, taste the flavors of a simple life, you caress a touching humanity that sticks us chills.
At the very end of the book, the author wonders if he made us have a good time reading. Dear William Siaudeau is better than that, you made us have a good time of life. You can be thanked!
