That the man can sing, I am well known by its German stuff, because I stand but not so on it. Now I have finally seen him with a radio-Combo (Soulounge) on television and was floored! Actually, I have wanted for a CD of them and also found. And then a little further looked around. And then I have bought this CD rather for my (78 year old) mother, the only Swing and hear something. But I wanted to check it out themselves briefly and as it came over as fresh and captivating, I have quite heard. (Even something like "My Favorite Things" comes before an entirely new!) And afterwards had a permanent smile on his face ...
I think now he sells in his German CDs far below value, but is probably just what more for the wider audience. What there but definitely even comes out, is the uncanny desire to sing that this man obviously! There is not only all the technical equipment required, each note is sitting, but so many colors are there, his "Spring Joy" picks up immediately on the handset, as well as the sentiments of the other titles. And a title is hauntingly sad without even the slightest trace of fat! For this, I had to laugh sometimes almost loud in his Skat vocals, so original is. (Yes, this can too! And how !!!)
I do not want to close without including with the super musicians who accompany Cicero in the truest sense of the word here, nee rather "play around" ...
