We describe the thing again: The cover is open above and below. Below is an elastic band is sewn up and you can pull an adjustable band that is very difficult to move. The fabric is apparently the a heavy, somewhat cumbersome, but also appearing indestructible plastic material. That's actually fine, but if one considers the lightweight and sturdy materials are in the outdoor clothing range, one wonders whether the envelope must really be so bulky as it is? The actual "protection" should surely most buyers see in concealing an ugly and often slightly rusted gas cylinder, but one does not necessarily need such a thick material.
And one also wonders why this envelope is ever open at the bottom? That would make sense if the envelope the foot of the gas cylinders shall not cover, so that the bottle is more secure, instead of "wurschteligen" on a rubber edge. But first, it looks strange and secondly Weber seems not to intend that, at least do not say this from the product images. Considering the casing but over the foot - as in all product images to see - then fit the top of the bottle neck / head made nothing. The standard 5-liter bottles from Germany's DIY stores are just too lean and too high.
The (well processed in principle) envelope for this purpose in Germany for sale, without referring to the impossible fit and then to use a deceptive product picture, resulting in my personal consumer world to the "maximum penalty": 1 star on Amazon. Why I have not previously read the reviews?
I wonder now seriously if I use not just for. As a suitable compression sack for sleeping bags for the purpose of "Aufhübschung" the bottle. Or are there alternatives?
