My lab was the Park and the excavated hole, meadows, trees, flowers and walkers.
The lighting in my "tests" were modest until ok. So I had no great expectations in the mega results.
At home when looking at the pictures, there was still an absolute WOW effect.
The "wide-angle" (the 7D with me) absolutely sufficient even with a crop camera.
The colors came over fine and also agreed the sharpness.
Even sharper was when I picture a wooden hut looked, I have taken from 20 meters.
The grain was so sharply focused that I could hardly believe my eyes.
Carved from the chair got me then the "Floral Images". Color, contrast, sharpness ... absolutely amazing !!!
What I really mean to say: Anyone looking for no lens in which he can rumnörgeln about any Labor values, but one examined the absolute provides true color and sharp images, which should be the 850, - to invest and strike with this lens!
So far I have always put on the cheaper models that Tamron, and I can not deny, have always delivered good pictures. But now I'm sure that was worth this additional investment.
The Canon is worth the money in any case and I can not with a clear conscience Tell all doubting!

Finally, I would like to say a few words to the sender, or dispatch.
I order quite a lot on Amazon, and has always been 100% satisfied. This time however I was on the verge of the package be returned to Amazon.
The seller was not Amazon itself but a third of England.
Lens, lens hood and "transport bags" were nicely bagged in its original packaging.
Also, a manual was there, however, these scratched and slightly worn ... HMH in virgin quite unusual. Should not be so also on the island!
