Myself come from the printing industry (sales of color presses with proof quality), so I know my way around a little.
Now have the unit for a few days and am absolutely thrilled!
When it comes to color fidelity, color fastness or proof quality was some so-called experts here said that it not only angkommt on the printer itself. Decisive is the paper, the light in the room, the color profile of the printer or the profile and the setting of the monitor. I take 3 different color schemes, three different paper and it all looks different. What one then like best, every self is left. The result can really be seen. Printouts agree very well with the view on the screen, so only very slight color variations. The profiles come in really good quality. Have in the past a lot of pictures which I made with meinr digital camera, can be created by external providers as a real photo. If I now these so-called professional images comparison with my printing from Epson, the Epson prints from my view are deuchtlich colorfast and detailed than the professional print compared to the screen. Acts simply fresher and above all in the colors more natural.
So if you want make any proof, is well served with Epson in photo printing.
In business applications, the same good results; good black printing, adequate speed when printing, very fast, and especially good scan up to A3, good representation in films and div. papers etc. So everything's alright.
In summary, the device offers everything a private o. Business user wants with excellent quality, great amenities, a great price and still affordable maintenance costs.
