What plans have the Patriots?

After the highly exciting final of Legend I was very excited about the direction of the action now take. The decision of the two to join the patriots, I could well understand these seem to be the last port of call in order to obtain much-needed help. After the two arrive at the Patriots will clear quickly, what will be the main theme of this second part: An attack to be perpetrated on the new Elektor.

By this exciting topic and the rapid pace it was not boring in this trilogy-midsection. June and Day have to part again for the mission and the two have put themselves in danger. A very special task comes to June, and together with her I was worried about that they can implement their plans. But soon she makes again surprising discoveries that provide everything into question.

A bit annoyed me that initiate in this story love triangles, because so far I was glad that this was not the case. The love plays in the book but most of the time only a minor role, as the thoughts of all are mainly the war and the planned assassination.

The action approaches with each side relentlessly the peak, which is why I only reluctantly put the book out of my hand. If everything went according to plan? Again and again I was able to surprise the story, and finally to rush the events. And I got myself surprised that some conclusions are drawn precisely at the crucial moment, and a very crucial scene just seemed too incredible and impossible. Yet the story has me especially on the last pages again can be carried away properly and great desire on the third and last part done.

I forgive 4 stars and would recommend the show to all fans of dystopia!
