Doro had become accustomed to good equipment. My apartment phone is an excellent example. I have long dreamed of a slider phone with large characters, magnifier, a good camera, a widescreen 3-inch bright, health alert, an abs shell, and I believed that Doro had done ... .
But then here !, this phone .. it's a total failure. I am disappointed in disappointed.
Mechanically the device is well designed overall. you just see the hardness of the slide keyboard keys that are so hard that sometimes jumps, autofocus camera does not work in white, the battery is poor. I've seen these battery models in Chinese phones low billing. Besides mine dropped after one week.
FOr the rest, I'm not going to teach them their designer by trade, but a senior two main problems: the sight and hearing. Next hearing, all is well. The device delivers. So nothing to say. Side view against 2 fonts that do not apply everywhere and even the biggest of insufficient size (incoming sms are written small). A zoom display that stores the magnification for each page or chapter in the navigation or menu, would have been much more functional. We must be free to enlarge the pages as we see fit.
FOr the display brightness impairment where. It takes at least 30% more.
The other real problem is the phone management software !!: pathetic. Here is the list! the main points:
- If a call during a conversation, the caller is not displayed.
- You can not navigate the menu during a call (to pick a number or a conversation 3)
- Internet: not zoom the search page. Lilliputian characters unreadable for me
- Ringer: no custom ring !! that ugly stuff (we know you're a senior, do we noticed)
- Texto: abc in 6 times you need to type to get the "v" (this is an example). there's tons of letters like that.
- SMS: the widely used appostrophe is on another page and it must change the writing mode to the numbers. foction the "long press" would have been a good thing.
- Mms: the images attached can not be verified before shipment. Important not be wrong!
- Alarm: Wake setting one !! Me .. I need 3 alarms per day.
- No usual repertoire of the last 20 people contacted. So to send a mms to my current contacts is long, and 20 mms to my current contacts ... it is hours !!
- Mms / sms: if you are wrong caller menu is exited and one returns in the selection each time. This is exhausting
- No file to copy, move, SMS / MMS, or filing.
- SMS / MMS: A thumbnail icon in an index icon to distinguish between incoming outgoing transferred. Mission impossible without glasses. While it was easy to draw a large orange arrow for outgoing, green for incoming, one blue for transferred ...
- SMS / MMS: all messages are mixed. Some messages sent or received before start or vice versa. Already it is not easy to recognize, but in addition it is !!! Pagaille. Besides his conversations to sort .. it takes almost found patience dose.
- I will not spread myself on the allocation of green and red buttons, messages that do not leave, the phone must be off, then three times a day and so on.
