If you do not want to buy a platinum plus one more speaker amp for 3 times the price up to it, this is a good interim solution. The sound is ok but quickly saturates if rises too high, it still has a jack for plugging in something else. Everything is portable, not too plastic chip. The discs are read easily, it does not jump, it does no more than it should sizzle. In short you get what you pay for and we can hardly expect more.
