Addendum 2014-11-16:
- "Half on the TV (MCACC setup) via remote control and half on the PC (. Connection details including speakers) via the network ..." You can also replace it with a PC setup app setup on "iControlAV5".
- Power consumption (with 5 speakers connected) without sound output (idle): 85 watts.
- 7. The silent playback (evening / night) from DTS or Dolby audio sources can be greatly improved for my taste with the "ALC".
- Make a comparison with my old "before HDMI era, EUR 600 5.1 Receiver"? That does not make sense because there are worlds between. I can therefore say to the death of my old receiver: Fortunately! The only pity is the "you" is not 2.2 / 4 yet to 4K UltraHD / HDCP: 4 have time to wait ...: 4
Addendum 2014-12-22:
I head over S / PDIF my tone to the amplifier, thereby I handle potential HDMI problems (disadvantage: DTS-HD and DD-HD, ... can not be transferred). When I watch a movie in eg DD abspiele 5.1 sound and now go on fast forward, then the sound will change to PCM Stereo (which makes my setter so). As far as all this is not an issue but unfortunately the Pioneer does not like to change: For example, at every 5th time the sound off and comes only after repeated again change (or switch the decoder via the "AUTO" button) again. That annoys me very now, as is common in fast-forward TV recordings. One star deduction (if it is fixed via firmware update, I'm doing the Undo).
Addendum 2015-01-02:
8. The front is very prone to scratches and fingerprints, ie who a real aluminum front panel is operated, the device not only via the FB itself as quickly wish.
9. For stereo the subwoofer is from? When speaker setup you can make in "SW" not only from "no" to "yes" but continues to "plus". Only then is the SW is also used in stereo sources. This is no one!
Addendum 2015-02-22:
10. The device has Power Toggle, Power On and Power Off IR commands. That is very welcome: With a Logitech Harmony FB Vewendung is then automatically dispensed Power Toggle and instead the other two commands are used. This prevents any unwanted changes between on / off occur. This property I would also very much like for my other AV devices but only the Pioneer it.
- To "2014-12-22" Pioneer says that my unit is defective and I should send it there. Since I have been (very) bad experiences with repairs in general I do not want to get involved in the "Repair risk" (at least until further notice).
