Actually I wanted to buy a smoker box directly, but then I heard about this trial set. It contains 6 small aluminum boxes, which are filled with 6 different taste smoke chips. From Apple, Cherry to Beech the flavors are very different and bring a corresponding flavors to grilled food. This allows you to test well, what a taste is and what you most likely decide on the purchase of a large bag of smoke chips later. Theoretically, the boxes for a single use are intended, however, they can be quite used repeatedly, as long as they are properly placed in the grill and do not warp if too much heat (for example on the charcoal grill) located. A worthwhile investment to try the smoking or other flavors.
Strangely, the listed price is quite high here in comparison to the hardware store (Horn ...) where I purchased it for nearly half.
