Reading this book was challenging. I really struggled to finish so the story is terrifying ... and unfortunately lucid ... Surely not for children, I got this book read in class by one of my children. One feels drawn by a downward spiral, actually dehumanization is terrible, fast, certainly even crueler through these children. But how not to apply it to adults?
