I have this lamp used as a main beam in a BMW. The high beam is switched as TFL. installed on 5.11.2009, failed on 31/10/2010. approximately 80 000 km. Light is but really whiter than in the OEM bulbs, the brightness is not markedly different - at least in my high beams.

The Osram Sylvana that already were inside, and 2 years have been used as TFL, now come back inside. Whether the high beams a couple of shades is now brighter, believe that does not count as such really. When (dimmed to 18%) TFL sees no difference at all.
