The monitor comes in an elegant piano lacquer finish, therefore, looks great, but is also very sensitive, the included microfiber cloth makes here but quick remedy when it comes to surface sensitivity.
Connecting cables, and more, very commendable! With me was even an HDMI cable with it, which is to my knowledge here is not listed in the product description.
The built-in W241D PVA panel is an absolute highlight! Even on my old box with on-board graphics card conjures up the display a nice sharp picture with great colors, color fastness is important here! In addition, the display is anti-glare, so no problems with external light sources, like the Glare- or Bright-View display. Only a very shining display the color red, I noticed a disturbing, but that may also be related to the lean graphics card.
Unlike the conventionally built TN panels the PVA panel plays out not only its strengths when it comes to appearance and color fastness, but especially in the field of view observation, it is in fact independent of view! Where one goes, zero color or light changes, viewed from any angle, the view remains unchanged! It's ne really cool thing, but you also pay correspondingly more compared to conventional TFTs with TN panels.
In addition, the Hyundai is a full HD device (max. Resolution 1900x1200). Ie: movies in HD-quality, razor sharp! Multimedia fans will take pleasure in it. As it is with the gamer qualities of the panel I can not say, since I'm not a gamer.
The operating menu is concise, clearly structured and leaves nothing to be desired. The menu buttons are punched out, good pressure point, they typed short and off you go! : O)
Mechanics: Something I've not seen! Once you have realized the safety pin on the foot away can turn the screen with an ease and call that other manufacturers should it anbschneiden a disc!
Slight pressure on the top and the panel slides smoothly down and as gentle upward while pushing the bottom edge. Forefinger created bottom right, with a circular motion moved upward and the panel moves to the pivot position. Wrong! I was / am thrilled! The many connection options round off the excellent overall impression.
Finally, let me say that I am not a Hyundai employee! : O) The monitor simply thrilled with his performance and his mechanics and that he should, because after all these feelings are deep into their pockets! But the price is fully justified here, I think.
Important to mention that you should have the appropriate hardware to completely auszureizen the monitor, then you will have been thrilled at the device.
