Metal case looks very high. With a flashlight for all devices on the front of the infrared eye wanted and glued the IR transmitter, tape from 3M, these bonding very well, and do not dissolve! With external IR receivers nachgeholfen as my Ligawo HDMI Switch with some tape ...
Then the disillusionment no single device responds to the remote control. Only after repeated pressing a button a reaction ... At each of my devices! So all IR transmitter again dismantled and re-glued on metal boxes and power supplies dipped. Again, just very bad reaction !!
Wanted everything to return again and thought to myself then, try using a stronger power supply ... the included 12v has 1000mA, this I have changed into a 12v 2000mA and lo and behold, suddenly it works!
But still not ideal. One probably I will try a 12v 3000mA power supply. The extent to which this reduces lifetime, I can not yet answer.
I do not know exactly why it works with the other people, for me it works anyway just so!
