Now the wire binding machine Fellowes:
+ Heavy, stable design
+ Easy to use handle for punching
+ A specialist for wire comb as "mini-camp"
+ Collector of Stanzreste (seen with disc around when this is full)
+ Adjustable punching size depending on the paper DINA5 to DINA4
- Relatively bulky machine
But that was about all I find negative about this machine, and when I put the positive point of "heavy, sturdy design" on the other hand, I could also omit the single negative point. Only I wanted to have mentioned it.
The leaves can be easily and thanks to the integrated lever very smooth cutting. 80g, 120g, 240g ... no problem as long as you do not overdo it with the crowd! 15 sheets of 80g are given more and I do not use in a stamping operation.
On the device a plurality of hooks attached to which are you can fix the wire ties to thread around the punched sheets.
After that, everything is in the press. Here, however, I lacked a clear description on what you have to pay if you compresses the wire ties. (After two attempts I know now how)
I use the device to bind scheduler with about 80 sheets of 120g and for producing calendars. For the latter one still requires "calendar hangers" and - what is most important - a "thumb hole punch" (do not forget side cutter)
Everything comes together this machine perhaps 20-25 times a year in use. Although it is perhaps a lot of money but I can for the device leaving! For this purpose it is still simple and comfortable thus fun makes it perhaps even more often use to ... ;-)
