Wireless SD card reader, external battery bank and other clear advantages in a single unit

Positive was the first impression of this part. It is kept completely white in glossy and has around the sides of a weak turquoise edge. The RAV Power unit is made of plastic and not so difficult as I thought before. On the top there are 4 LED Lontrollleuchten. On the front side is the slot for an SD card and a USB connection. The power button, and a micro-USB port located on the left side. Visually, the device is as convincing as by its good workmanship.

With the supplied cable the device can be connected directly to the computer. So you can charge the battery, or directly as a hub to access an SD card. In the instructions to point out that there is a 2.0 USB connection is missing. Nevertheless, the access is fast.

Once the unit is turned on, it is ready to be wirelessly connected to a computer or smartphone. In the manual is a website where you can a corresponding APP or a program for a computer for free download. It is possible to connect the RAV Power Hub with an existing router. Up to 5 devices can later the same time to access the card reader.

We use the equipment primarily to secure our photos. Just because the Spericherplatz is quickly exhausted on the smartphone, it's a big advantage, between fast by wirelessly to pull existing images to an SD card once.

The battery capacity is 3000 mAh. As an external battery used, can be so easily a Samsung Galaxy S4 charge. Who this feature is particularly important, it should be said that there are now smaller batteries with more power. Is just a nice addition, and if you travel a lot, quite useful.

What I do not like quite as well, is the manual. This is provided only in English, French and Chinese. Much is explained by saying yes, but I still feel that a technical device always heard a German instructions, if the device is intended to prevail here in the German market.

After use the device nearly every day, I have to say that I no longer want to do without it. Especially because here wonderfully manages the connection to Apple devices such as the iPad! In addition, the battery power has not yet subsided. If I still find some mistake I will report here.

Would I buy it again. Recommended.
