With this device you can operate a lottery, but do not connect USB drives reliably

The first unit was delivered quickly, but had a faulty SD card slot, and I have swapped it. The refund was received the next day and I ordered a new device.
What I like about the device is that it has a metal body and a large battery, the iPad 3 will load and can therefore be used as a last resort good (whether it is charged to 100% I have not tested, because I sure do not need). It makes a robust impression. Unfortunately, I did not understand what the difference between 5in1 and 4in1 is (2, - ??).
The device can be configured with the Safari browser on iOS very quickly, stupid, which is used in some passages a dark gray font with a black background.
Unfortunately, the device supports no Bridge function so that you can run very isolated a WLAN with this device (unlike the Kingston G3)
But I was looking for a router with which I can transfer RAW files (about 19GB) from an SD card to a USB drive to create traveling backups can. Everything else was unimportant to me.
I have tested as follows:

- IPad with iOS 7.1.2
- Sandisk Ultra 16GB SD card with 30MB / s
- Toshiba STOR.E Basic 500GB USB3.0 (2.5 ")
- SAMSUNG M3 Portable 1TB USB3.0 (2.5 ")
- Noname 3.5 "120GB ext power supply.
- Transcend StoreJet 25D3 (USB3.0, 2.5 ")
- FTP Client Pro 2.1.9 verse.
- Y-cable and power supply for router and plate

Only the Noname board and the Transtec were detected. The Samsung and Toshiba, despite power supply via a Y cable are not detected.
Recognizing the plates were already more by chance than reliable. 4 of 5 attempts were unsuccessful and had to be pulled off and plugged in every time the USB connector. A very annoying and unreliable procedure.

The RAW files should be copied from card to USB disk. After an hour the board wanted to have transferred about 340MB. In the Noname board that was true also in the Transtec only the directory structure has been created and incremented the counter of transferred data.

For me the product is not suitable and as image storage on the go is not available for me.
