Without tinkering not good.

I've wanted a portable radio for his birthday and this get.
The discriminatory power of the device is miserable.
Empang high-power transmitter also limited.
Lifting me now somewhat helped by the one I've probably called antenna replaced by a 26 cm long section of a radio antenna to rubber stub. This part has luckily the same screw as the radio.
I also have the rubber side panels removed and relocated including copper cable :-)
This cable connected to the antenna and screwed rubber again.
Now it works tolerably well.
Of course you can not compare it with a Makita radio, which I would not even down due to the high price as a part.
But still it's annoying when poor quality is produced, no matter at what price.
I would not with a clear conscience recommend it.
