Won at full line (a note!)

1. MAC (network) address and password of the three adapters written.
2. All three adapters in the apartment plugged distributed.
3. The LAN cable angeschlossel to the Internet, living room Media Center and My Computer.
4. also plugged the associated electrical connections in the Apapter (IMPERATIVE !!!)
... (Multiple plug can / must also be plugged into the adapter when multiple Computeretc be connected.)
5. First test: over 200Mbit (24MB / s) between all devices!

Now the whole thing with its own code to encrypt. The default password is the same again and again and should therefore be replaced. This requires in addition to the aforementioned MAC (network) address and password adapter software "NETGEAR Powerline Utility" version. 3

1. Finding software "NETGEAR Powerline Utility" on the NETGEAR website and download.
2. On the PC or laptop to install (if necessary you will be prompted for the administrator access)
Enable 3. Start and Security
4. Change encryption key to a long string with more than 40 random characters. This note, if you continue to want to connect adapter later ;-)

Result: Everything is going great and there is no noticeable loss of speed!
