This is one of Panansonic lenses that also my Olympus cameras (E-PL1, E-PL3, E-M5) makes a really good impression and makes extremely good to very good pictures. There's really nothing to complain about. Operation and processing is a very high level and much better than the counterpart of Oly (MFT Zuiko 3,5-5,6 / 14-42mm IIR). There is even a lens hood with it. So I imagine a very good lens. It is just as big as the Zuiko in the retracted state, very stable and very flexible to use. At 14 mm, it is not quite as sharp as the Zuiko, but overall very harmonious and balanced. Should "Color Photo" believe it has even slightly better overall picture quality (up to the light intensity) as the Lumix 2.8 / 12-35 mm, which should be at the far end definitely better but. But the difference is you hardly remember when you nachschärft subsequently something. I have to decide now. The Lumix 14-42 II or the Zuiko 12-50 mm standard lens, the 14-40 mm at no worse in any case than the Lumix, a very good power zoom has, sealed, 12mm wide-angle and an extremely fast AF has. From me a big recommendation for the Lumix and also for the Zuiko. Better for PEN`s fits the Lumix and the E-M5 better the Zuiko (but only because of the seal). AZ
