I use these things on a Retina Macbook Pro and copy much back and forth.
I opted for the Orinoco case because the reviews were very good. But the impression is improved dramatically after you have these things in their own hands and also testing myself.
I have here now are 3 of these housings with different plates. Once with a Samsung SSD 830 512GB, even with a normal hard drive with 1TB Samsung and once with a developed hard drive from a Macbook Pro.
So the thing feels very valuable. One need no screwdriver, which is ever great. In any other case the screws wear out. So it's super easy to handle.
For longevity I want now but say nothing because those things are in operation only since 10 days.
The transfer rate is always constant and it does not break off. For me, this is the best case so far.
